Astrid "Vickie" Hadeen was born Jan. 10, 1938 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 30, 2023.

She was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in Sterling into a Swedish heritage. Vickie's father Bernard Franson made the voyage across the Atlantic Ocean aboard the ship Oceania and into Ellis Island at 19 years old settling in the Fairfield Community in Haxtun. He married Mable "Linnea" Sandquist in 1936. Linnea passed away when she was just two years old. Her father adoringly raised her along with the help of her grandparents; John and Hedie Sandquist.
