Bulldogs set to take on Sedgwick Co. and Otis at home this week

SOPHOMORE STARTER Chase Goddard battles to keep control of the ball while a Peetz defender commits a foul. Haxtun hosted Peetz on Friday.

The Haxtun Bulldogs saw action on the basketball court twice over the past week. The first in a home game against the Peetz Bulldogs and the second on the road in Yuma against the Outlaws.

Haxtun hosted Peetz on Friday night, taking on the Bulldogs in green. Peetz nabbed an early six point advantage after the first quarter but both teams put 11 points on the board in the second to keep the score fairly even at half time.

Haxtun added 13 points in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth but the Bulldogs from Peetz held on for a 10-point win, 67-57.
