PATSY BJORKLUN, a Haxtun High School senior, and sophomore Amy Henry earned awards at the Future Homemakers of America Winter Conference held last Tuesday at Northeastern Junior College.

Jan. 18, 1939

"Spring Fever," a farce dealing with college students, was presented last Thursday evening by the junior class. Cast: Irla Pierce, Stuart Exstrom, John Bentson, Robert Reynolds, Merle Monk, Phyllis Knutsen, Maxine Collins, Earl Critchlow, Irene Ahnstedt, Elaine Silvey, Leslie Chryst, Curtis Starkebaum, directed by Miss Marjorie Anderson.

Miss Nema Hagemeier, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Hagemeier of south of Haxtun, and David S. Johnson of Sterling were married in Greeley on Saturday, Jan. 7. The bride is a charming young woman and is well known in the Rockla...
