Medicaid recipients to ensure they receive the comprehensive care and services they need to improve their health.

Colorado’s Medicaid program is called Health First Colorado. In 2022, 57 percent of all Colorado adults aged 19 to 64 were covered by Health First Colorado. In 2023, eligibility thresholds were changed due to the official end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. Automatic renewals have also stopped.
