Lady Wildcats advance to 2-0 in league

LADY WILDCAT senior Tori Champ finds herself open under the basket in last Friday's contest against Peetz. Champ contributed three steals, three rebounds, two assists and two points in the contest that put the Wildcats on their home court for the first time in 2024. The Lady Wildcats defeated the Lady Bulldogs that night to advance to 2-0 in the league.
Fleming's Lady Wildcats tacked on a league win over the past week to put them at 2-0 on the year. The Lady Wildcats were scheduled for two games last week, but a road contest scheduled for Thursday at Akron was cancelled due to icy roads and blowing snow.
For their lone contest last week, the Lady Wildcats returned to their home court for the first time this year, playing host to the Peetz Lady Bulldogs. Peetz entered with just a single win on their record this season and exited with their first league loss after Fleming took the 70-32 victory.
