After giving Haxtun its first district championship here Saturday night, the high school basketball team left this week to enter the state Class B tournament in Denver. The Bulldogs will play their first game against Cortez, runner-up from the second district in southwestern Colorado. Bill Drummond paced the Bulldogs throughout the tournament, averaging 10 points per game. The combination of Meakins and Sack turned in another good performance on the court. Ruch again proved to be an all-around dangerous man to the enemy. Bailey and Exstrom were also a part of the tea...
