Haxtun Bulldogs go 2-1 in last week's action; currently 4-3 overall

HAXTUN THIRD BASEMAN Colin Cone reaches down for the tag in the Bulldog's home outing with Briggsdale on Tuesday. Haxtun took a 18-3 win to go 2-1 in last week's action.
The Haxtun Bulldogs went 2-1 over the past week with games against Prairie, Yuma and Briggsdale. Haxtun took down Prairie and Briggsdale on their home field but suffered a loss to Yuma on the Road.
Thursday's action pitted the Bulldogs in a home contest with the Prairie Mustangs. Haxtun took a commanding 16-0 advantage after just two innings of play to control the entire contest, which only went to four innings. The Bulldogs added another four in the third, enforcing the mercy rule as Haxtun took the 20-1 victory.
