After cancellations of their last two scheduled meets, the Fleming Wildcats track team returned to action on Monday, April 8. The team traveled to Yuma where they competed in the Bill Kalb Invitational. Top-10 placing performances for the meet are as follows:
Girls
1,600-meter run: Emoree Lousberg, seventh, 7:08.32.
Four-by-100-meter relay: Team of Brooke Schaefer, Hadley Stull, Hayley Chamberlain and MadiKay Serrato, ninth, 57.96.
Four-by-800-meter relay: Team of Lousberg, Stull, Chamberlain and Serrato, third, 12:34.21.
Long jump: Schaefer, third, 14 feet.
Pole vault: Serrato, tie for ninth, seven feet, four inches.
Boys
1,600-meter run: Jared Betley, third, 5:24.07.
3,200-meter run: Jared Betley, second, 12:05.31.
High jump: Travis Johnson, seventh, five feet, six inches.
Shot put: David Betley, tie for ninth, 38 feet, .25 inches.
