Haxtun track team travels for two meets last week

The Haxtun Bulldog track team competed in two meets over the past week. The first in Chappell, Neb. on April 9 and the second in Gilcrest on April 13. Top-10 results from those meets are as follows:

Twilight in Chappell

Girls

100-meter dash: Kayte Cody, fourth, 15.03.

Four-by-100-meter relay team: fourth, 1:05.95.

Long jump: fourth, Cody, 13 feet, one inch.

Discus: Zoe Kurtzer, first, 103 feet, five inches.

Shot put: Reagan Jones, third, 28 feet, one inch.

Boys

Four-by-100-meter relay team: sixth, 56.87.

High jump: Max Grauberger, sixth, five feet.

Shot put: Brock Miller, sixth, 35 feet, seven inches; Jack Feil, ninth, 31 feet, six inches.

100-meter dash: Nea Gaida, fourth, 14.32; Fallon Bamford, 10th, 14.92.

Discus: Cassidy Goddard, first, 127 feet, nine inches; Jones, third, 106 feet, six inches; Kurtzer, fourth, 99 feet, one inch.
