Haxtun track team competes at Sedg. Co.

The spring weather has cooperated the past few days, allowing Haxtun track athletes to compete at the Sedgwick County Cougar Classic on April 23. Top 10 results from that meet are as follows:

Girls

400-meter run: Lilly Lemesany, ninth, 1:13.36.

800-spring medley relay team: ninth, 2:18.98.

Four-by-100 meter relay team: sixth, 56.83.

Four-by-200 meter relay team: fourth, 2:01.62.

Four-by-400 meter relay team: sixth, 4:52.11.

Four-by-800 meter relay team: sixth, 12:20.19.

100-meter hurdles: Halli Philp, sixth, 20.50; Emma Lemesany, tie for eighth, 21.14.

300-meter hurdles: Emily Anderson, sixth, 57.14.

1,600-meter run: Jinjer Stroyek, 10th, 7:12.29.

Discus: Reagan Jones, second, 117 feet, three inches; Cassidy Goddard, third, 116 feet, six inches.

Shot put: Goddard, second, 35 feet, 4.5 inches.

High jump: Lexi Imhof, tie for ninth, four feet, five inches.

The Lady Bulldogs finished in eighth place with 43.5 points.

Boys

High jump: Max Grauberger, fifth, five feet, three inches.

The Bulldogs scored a total of five points for 13th place.
