Seger signs for softball with LCC

SAMANTHA SEGER, middle front, signed a letter of intent to play softball at Lamar Community College last week. Haxtun senior Samantha Seger signed a letter of intent to play softball at Lamar Community College next fall. Seger sealed her commitment with friends and family by her side in signing ceremonies at Haxtun High School last week. Seger played four softball seasons with the Lady Dragons in Holyoke.

"Samantha has a great personality and loves the game of softball, said Greg Cary, Softball Coach of the Lamar Lady Running Lopes. "She will bring that personality with her and also her athleticism to help us offensively."

In her time with the Lady Dragons, Seger earned a .450 batting average and a .53...
