Goddard breaks previous discus record; creates new school record

Cassidy Goddard once again broke the discus record at Haxtun High School. The senior broke her own record from her junior year with a throw of 135 feet, four inches. Goddard set the new record at the Holyoke Invitational Meet on May 1.

Last year, Goddard broke the school record with a throw of 103 feet, eight inches at the HOKA St. Vrain Invitational. At that time, she broke a record set and held by Callie Dickerson who registered a throw of 126 feet, six inches at the 2017 Colorado 1A State Track Meet.
