    The women of the District Three American Legion Auxiliary wanted a fun way to select a winner of a quilt stitched together in 2017 by Elenna Firme of Haxtun from blocks made by members of the units in the District. District Three includes units from Fort Morgan, Sterling, Wray, Akron, Brush, Holyoke, Yuma, Peetz and Haxtun. Each unit sold numbered tickets to Veterans from their unit.
