Finding just the right color

It's hard to imagine, but there must be a legion of marketing prodigies somewhere that every few years bring us fresh renderings of names for the myriad shades of paint we are told we can't do without. Given their take, the perfect bright-spirited color might even change our life. Growing up in an era of needing one and only one interior paint (Eggshell), entertaining the use of color was a difficult step. It was the age of light colored walls and stained woodwork, but then came the marketers and our choices grew exponentially.
