Beverly A. Sharpe passed away at Melissa Memorial Hospital in Holyoke on March 5, 2020 surrounded by her family at the age of 84.

She was born in Crested Butte on Oct. 2, 1935. As a child, Bev took advantage of all that Crested Butte had to offer, frequently going ice skating, sledding, skiing, fishing and hiking. Beverly graduated from high school in 1953 and went to work for the Equitable Life Insurance Company in Denver. While working in Denver, Beverly met the love of her life, Keith Sharpe, who had just returned from the Korean War. The two shared a passion for Chinese food and dancing.
