Alyssa Lock earns Senior Grand Champion at Colorado State Fair

Phillips County 4-H results from the Colorado State Fair

ALYSSA LOCK is pictured with her Global Citizenship project following the Phillips County Fair in July. Her project recently earned Grand Champion at the Colorado State Fair. Alyssa is the daughter of Brian and Michelle Lock, Haxtun.

As with most events this year, things looked different; but for the Colorado State Fair, the show must go on! Many local youth participated at the State fair and results are as follows:

Alyssa Lock: Global Citizenship, Grand Champion Senior, Champion.

Issac Strauss: Leadership, Champion.

Grace Stone: Scrapbooking, fourth place.

Ellie Kleve: Quilting, Reserve Champion.

Leah Struckmeyer: Quilting, Reserve Champion.

Braden Plumb: Woodworking, Reserve Champion.

Owen Brubacher: Woodworking, State qualifier; Electric, Reserve Champion; Small Engines, sixth place.

Kaden Herman: Sportfishing, sixth place.

Amy Struckmeyer: Gardening, ninth place.

Kylee Workman: Vet Science, Reserve Champion.

Aubrey Bieber: Photography, ninth place.

Josie Schlachter: Photography, Reserve Champion.

Jack Frerichs: Shooting Sports, ninth place.

Wyatt Mason: Leathercraft, seventh place.

Jayce Boerner: Leathercraft, fourth place.

Leah Edwards: Leathercraft, fourth place.

Baylor Struckmeyer: Leathercraft, fourth place.

Brooklyn Plumb: Leathercraft, Reserve Champion.

Braylin Herman: Cooking, fifth place.

Tessa Gales: Cake Decorating, State qualifier.

Holley Ely: Cake Decorating, State qualifier.

Kynlea Nelson: Clothing Construction, fifth place.

Kaylee Anderson: Clothing Construction, Reserve Champion.
