GRAND MARSHAL Carol Scheel has both hands up for her catch from granddaughter Carisa Bamford in the egg toss Saturday afternoon at the 99th annual Haxtun Corn Festival. Scheel has attended all but one annual Corn Festival event in her 85 years, missing it just once when she was with her husband, Kerm, who was stationed in California while in the military.
