Resendiz has been a library patron and summer reading participant since preschool and served as a teachers' aide in the library her senior year. Alvarez has been a part of hosting Dr. Seuss Nights at the library for several years. Both graduates were chosen, in part, based on their involvement with the library while in school at Fleming.
