Lady Bulldogs pick up win over Leyton, Neb. before break begins

The Lady Bulldogs enter Christmas break with a 25-point win over the Lady Warriors from Leyton, Neb. Haxtun picked up their second win at home Thursday night and will break from play until action resumes just after the first of the year.
Offensively, the Lady Bulldogs came out hot against Leyton, putting 14 points on the board in just the first quarter. Haxtun added 22 in the second to hold a 36-9 advantage at half time.
Scoring in the third quarter was much the same as the Lady Bulldogs upped the score by 12. On the defensive end, Haxtun held the Lady Warriors to just five points f...
