The Fleming Wildcats took a narrow three-point win over the Longhorns of Lone Star to mark their lone win of the week. The Wildcats fell to Stratton the following night on the road to go 1-1 for the week.

Lone Star led by five after the opening quarter in Thursday night’s contest at Fleming, 19-14. They tacked another point onto their lead by the end of the half to go up 30-24 on the home team.

Fleming returned after the break to outscore the Longhorns in the third, 16-10, evening it out at 40-all.
