PCED recently recognized Haxtun High School students Lilly Lemesany, Kaiden Schelling and Megan Walker for their efforts in Haxtun's Small Business Showcase as part of their FBLA project.
On April 24, Phillips County Economic Development named seven youths in Phillips County the awardees of the 2024 Impact and Opportunity Scholarship at the PCED Annual Meeting.
The award recognizes youth dedicated to their communities in promoting economic development and entrepreneurship.
Winner of the Individual Award is Braylin Herman for her business "Dragon Fashion."
Lilly Lemesany, Kaiden Schelling and Megan Walker received a Group Award for Haxtun's Small Business Showcase.
Winners of the Holyoke Group Awards included Elyce Sisseck, Hannah Lindholm and Fatima Nunez for their Shop Local Campaign.
