Bulldogs pick up 2 league wins last week

The Haxtun Bulldogs edged out wins over two league opponents last week to boost their Lower Platte record to 3-3. The wins last week gives the team an overall 12-5 record with just one 1A loss on the books. The Bulldogs picked up wins over Akron at home and Merino on the road in Thursday/Friday night action.
Haxtun hosted Akron in a home court Thursday night match up, pulling away with a 65-41 win over the 2A Rams. Despite being in a higher classification, the Rams are a part of the Lower Platte League with the Bulldogs, giving Haxtun a much needed win as the post season edges near....
