Larry Kennedy, Pinedale, Ariz., and Joy Schafer, Holyoke, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Larry is retired from the Marine Corps and Continental Airlines as a pilot while Joy has retired from various local projects, including being Phillips County 4-H Program Coordinator, volunteering with the mobile food pantry and writing Pocketful of Rye for The Haxtun-Fleming Herald for 15 years.
An April 13 wedding is being planned at First Baptist Church of Holyoke....
