Haxtun Bulldogs go 2-1 on the diamond last week; are 7-5 overall

The Haxtun Bulldogs have just three regular season opponents to face in the 2022 spring baseball season. The team currently holds a 7-5 overall record and according to MaxPreps, a 4-3 record in the Lower Platte League. Last week, Haxtun took down Otis on the road and split a double-header with the Rams in Merino.
The Bulldogs jumped to an early 2-1 lead after the first inning of play. Haxtun added another run in the second but in the bottom of that inning, Otis came back to take the advantage with three runs. The home team Bulldogs added two runs in the third to increase the lead but the visit...
