Harms joins National Guard

FLEMING SENIOR Harry Harms announced to friends and family that he has enlisted in the Army National Guard in a ceremony held Monday, April 3 in the Fleming School/Community Library. Private Harms took the military oath on Jan. 24. He will leave for 10-week basic training on May 30 at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., before completing his 20-week military occupational specialty training to become part of the military police. PVT Harms has enlisted to serve eight years.
