The start to the 2023-24 school year is just around the corner and as summer winds down, Haxtun Schools is hosting registration for students of all ages. Registration for the coming year is open and available on Alma, the District’s student information website. The District also recently released updated school supply lists for 2023-24.

“It is important to review the information that we have in our student information system every year to update phone numbers, doctors, allergies, meds, emergency contacts, update permissions, etc.,” said Michelle Henry, Haxtun Elementary Secretary and the lead on the student registration process.

Parents for students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade can visit haxtunk8.getalma.com to register and those with students in grades seventh through 12th grade can visit haxtunhs.getalma.com to register for the upcoming school year. All new students should go to haxtunk12.almastart.com.

Once logged into the Alma account, parents should select Alma Start Forms & Tasks, click the green + circle and select either Haxtun Elementary or Haxtun JR/SR High School. Haxtun Elementary pertains to students in grades kindergarten through sixth; seventh and above are considered junior high and high school. When the correct school has been chosen, choose the 2023-24 school year and grade level and then click on the re-registration tab and then click on select. There will be a button to Begin Here. Once all forms are complete and up to date, review the information and hit Submit.

For those who wish to have help in registering for school, an open house will be held on Thursday, July 13 from 2-4 p.m. at the school in the cafeteria.

“If those dates or times do not work, you can reach out to their school secretary to set up a time to come in for computer use or assistance,” Henry added.

“Registration is currently open and will continue to be open even after the open house,” said Henry.
