Haxtun FFA attends B.I.G. conference in Sterling

Freshman from the Haxtun FFA Chapter went to Northeastern Junior College on Thursday, Sept. 21 to participate in the Becoming Involved as a Greenhand Conference. The B.I.G. conference gets the greenhands, which is the first degree in FFA, an opportunity to see the benefits of being a member in FFA.

During the conference members learned about building their FFA "house" and how to make it welcoming. This taught the kids first impressions and the importance of making a good first impression.
