Miller earns Chuck Urano scholarship

Brock Miller, Haxtun High School senior, was recently honored at the Colorado Farm Show as a recipient of the esteemed Chuck Urano scholarship. With graduation on the horizon this spring, Miller has set his sights on Northeastern Junior College, where he plans to pursue a degree in agricultural business with a specialized focus on economics and animal sciences. His aspirations extend towards a future career in grain merchandising or agriculture finance, driven by his profound understanding of the agricultural sector's significance and the need for dedicated advocates.

Miller's active involvement in 4-H and FFA has been instrumental in shaping his leadership skills and nurturing his passion for agriculture. Throughout his journey, he has excelled in various projects and assumed leadership roles, demonstrating his commitment to the advancement of the agricultural community. As a fifth-generation cattle rancher, Miller intimately understands the complexities and challenges inherent in the industry, further fueling his determination to contribute positively to its growth and sustainability.
