Lady Bulldogs earn post-season honors

Two Lady Bulldogs received post-season honors for their efforts on the volleyball team this year.
Haxtun wrapped up 2021 volleyball action at Regionals several weeks ago with an overall 6-10 record. Post-season honors are determined by a vote of coaches from each respective league.

Junior Allie Thompson earned All-Conference honors for her role on the team this season. Thompson, who works in the both the setter and hitter positions, played in 64 sets as a starter this year. She registered a total of 188 kills and a .177 hitting average. She also tallied 29 blocks at the net and 151 digs from the back row while serving up 15 aces. In the setter position, she had a total of 225 assists.
Schram, who also serves as a setter and hitter, started for the Lady Bulldogs this season. She earned All-Conference, Honorable Mention honors for her 2021 showing. In her 64 sets of play, she put down 154 kills while adding 16 blocks at the net. She netted 269 assists and 17 aces while also digging up 236 balls on defense.
