A CROWD of over 200 watched the square dancing at the "Old Fashioned Saturday" in Haxtun. Many in the crowd joined in until 9:30 p.m. when the music stopped and everyone departed.

Dairymen and other person to handle milk and cream for commercial purposes have been warned by Dairy Commissioner W.H. Skitt that syrup pails, large cans, cooking utensils, cans without covers, galvanized pails and cans, or other containers that cannot be properly washed and sterilized are not proper containers for cream and milk.

A.B. Stauffer suffered an injury last Sunday that, it was feared, would cause him to lose the sight of his eye. He was working on machinery at his farm north of Haxtun, when a piece of chisel broke off and stuck him in the eye.
