Fleming students and parents demonstrated their disappointment in recent decisions made by the Board of Education last week. Close to 30 students walked out of school during the middle of class Thursday morning and several parents who are a part of a group called Fleming Community Speaks protested in front of the school just before lunch. The protest comes at the heels of a board meeting and which many community members spoke in support of a staff member but, they say, their voices weren't heard. Signs held by group members read "No Confidence" and "Recall Board."
