    The infrastructure project at Haxtun Health is wrapping up and administration and board members are prepping to continue strategic planning in the coming weeks. Chief Executive Officer Dewane Pace said with the installation of the new roof, the infrastructure project is now done.     Local Agricultural Lender Premier Farm Credit announced that Appraiser, Ryan Lebsack has been awarded the Accredited Rural Appraiser designation.     Lawrence "Larry" Huss passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Brush at the age of 78. Larry was born May 12, 1944 in Sterling to Jacob and Henrietta (Hoozee) Huss. He attended school in Crook from first grade until graduating from Crook High School in May of 1962. Larry worked as a farmer and rural route mail carrier.     Week one of league action and the Haxtun Bulldogs emerge victorious from a Friday night contest with the Akron Rams to remain on top in the Lower Platte League and in State standings. Haxtun picked up a 48-14 win against the Rams to improve to 5-0 and remain one of six undefeated 8-man teams in Colorado.
